Adrien Brody's workout for "Predators" movie -... | Gather

Brody who is generally considered a scrawny actor, once took role preparation to a new level.  For 2002's "The Pianist", Brody not only learned to play Chopin on a piano, but he also lost 29 pounds to became super-skinny for the lead role.  This one requires Adrien Brody to kick butt and take no prisoners as the lead character being hunted by alien predators. Brody did the exact reverse of "The Pianist" by actually packing on 25 pounds at age 37.  Brody said: "I put on twenty-five pounds for the role anyway just to say, 'Okay, I'll do that as well, because I want it to be entertaining and part of the ride that people see when they see a movie like that.' But that's not really why I'm in it and that's not really what I brought to it. While there's little revelation as to the exact exercises and diet he used, Brody shed some light to recently. Brody said during preparation he wasn't drinking alcohol, wasn't consuming any refined sugars and was having no sex.  Back in 2005, Brody made the cover of Men's Health and they featured a as well.  From playing the role of an extremely skinny pianist to an all-out, gutsy and ripped action hero in the new "Predators" movie, Brody is one of the best in the biz.
