According to a latest study, the healthy diet containing nutritious contents can reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes, by controlling the blood sugar level. Both of the groups were given diabetes medications, but one group was also provided certain dietary patterns by the dietitian. It was found that those who followed the healthy diet patterns experienced control in the level of glycaemic and some of them were also able to cut their doses of hypoglycaemic or insulin. The findings proposed to add healthy foods in the diet to control sugar levels.
